[clipboard]: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with signal 5 in _XReply()

Bug Description

This happened when closing a Unity preview.
The screen freezed, and when the dash closed (after ~5sec), it left the top panel like you can see in the attatched screenshot.
I don't know if it is related, but the icon theme also changed to oxygen. However, that might be related to a KDE application I started just before this happened.
