Bug Description

12.04 suffers from a keybinding regression (both in media-keys plugin and custom commands)

I realise some of the bindings are used by Unity (like Super+A/D/F/N/S/W... )
The problem is other keys stop working _after some time_: it seems that Super loses it's modifier function, i. e., pressing Super+C is the same as just pressing 'C' – it starts the type-to-search function on some dialogs. Interestingly, some bindings seem not to be affected at all (Super+R). Key-bindings *do* work when an additional modifier is used (e.g. Shift+Super+C).

Tried setting the bindings with both gnome-control-center and dconf-editor.

Using an updated Ubuntu 12.04 64bit with Unity and vanilla drivers from nvidia.com

gnome-settings-daemon: 3.4.2-0ubuntu0
Apologies if this is the wrong package...
