Bug Description

When installing gnome-session-fallback, you get the option to login to a gnome-panel session.

There are two options:
* GNOME Panel
* GNOME Panel (No Effects)

But both results in launching a session with GNOME Panel and Metacity.
It would make more sense sense to use Compiz for the 'GNOME Panel' session, and Metacity for the No Effects session.

Edit: /usr/share/gnome-session/sessions/gnome-classic.session
Change "RequiredProviders=windowmanager;notifications;" to "RequiredProviders=windowmanager;"

The real problem is not that compiz is not set to load with the gnome-classic session. The problem is that notify-osd is causing the gnome-classic session to fail, and then its fallback session, which is the gnome-fallback session, is loaded instead.
