Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-shell

Hi,
I have a minor problem with GNOME Shell. It overrides a LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable with ":/usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2.15", which is slightly annoying. I set this variable in .gnomerc. Other variables, such as PATH are untouched and left as they are defined in .gnomerc. I am not sure if it is G-Shell, who overrides it (can be also mutter or so) but I think it is likely. I am using login through standard GDM and gnome3-session. The LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable is exported in .gnomerc.

It seems like gnome3-session or some caller discards the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, because it is unset in /proc/`pidof gnome-session`/environ. I wasn't able to track it further, but it is definitely somewhere between calling /etc/X11/Xsession.d/55gnome-session_gnomerc and running gnome-session (through gnome3-session).
BTW, I didn't encounter such a behaviour with standard GNOME 2 and gnome-session, so I suspect gnome3-session.
