recently I found this mockup by jimmac:

I think it has severala dvantages over the current dialog:
1. it sticks closer to upstream so its not such a radical change
2. you dont have to hove the buttons to see the tooltip
3. integrates the "save session" option |

Marking as a wishlist, could probably be marked as a duplicate of one of the discussions of the new dialog which list some suggestions too. Note that upstream changed their dialogs, that one is not closer to new upstream and we are not likely to change for something different from dapper and upstream now |

the intrepid dialog is similar to the one described there |
