6.06 gnome logout no longer has "save layout"
Madpilot in #ubuntu says this is intentional in 6.06 Please provide a way to reenable.
steps to repeat:
install ubuntu 6.06
loginto gnome
make a panel
add a logout applet to panel
click logout applet.
