2008-08-09 20:48:41 tdl description Binary package hint: xorg Hi, when I log into Gnome, I get that "Your last session lasted only 10 seconds" message, and as soon as I click ok, xorg crashes along with some display errors and restarts. I've tried disabling compiz, deleting ~/.config/autostart and ~/.gnome2/session, but none of these helped. The failsafe session doesn't work either. It shows me some error connecting to a varying dbus socket and then crashes, but I think this is only a symptom. I've attached a tarball containing my Xorg.0.log, Xorg.0.log.old and .xsession-errors I'm using an up-to-date version of Intrepid. Package versions: xserver-xorg 1:7.4~0ubuntu2 gnome-session 2.23.6-0ubuntu1 Binary package hint: xorg Hi, when I log into Gnome, I get that "Your last session lasted only 10 seconds" message, and as soon as I click ok, xorg crashes along with some display errors and restarts. The normal GNOME session still crashes, though.
