Bug Description
The gnome logout button is exposing some problem where a service (maybe network manager, or dbus??) takes a long time to shutdown.
* hit Logout button
.... wait minutes... (one user reports 50 seconds)
* get dialog screen about logout/
This happens on
- both Gusty and Hardy (x86-64) on a Q6600 using motherboard Intel graphics.
- Hardy Desktop x86-32 on a custom built machine around Asus A7n8x-x and nvidia-graphics card
Workaround: run gnome-power-manager and/or apmd.
(Even if these services are not wanted/used otherwise.)

I have the same problem on my PC. If i chancel the dialog and hit logout again, everything works fine and fast (but this time WITH hybernation-option)
