Bug Description

I am trying to run Weston Wayland X server, in an attempt to get decent graphics performance.

This is about an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 (driver from PPA https://launchpad.net/~graphics-drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa `nvidia-370` (370.28)) and a Phillips bdm4065uc.

Performance tests with 4k video are horrible in standard mir-xorg, lightdm/gdm, unity and gnome sessions.

But I noticed performance is excellent when running steamOS (debian 8.6 based), this one uses XWayland.
So I tried to get the same on Ubuntu but failed.
