Bug Description

I see next message in window without decoration and black background:

* Could not acquire name on session bus.
* Failed to load session 'Ubuntu'

Gnome fallback mode works fine.

I think this is CRITICAL bug.
Reinstalling/downgrade of some packages did not help me.
Compiz in fallback mode works fine.

Removing all cinnamon-related packages helped me, maybe you have something still not uninstalled?

No i uninstalled all releated cinnamon with apt-get purge cinnamon* && apt-get autoremove, i did also restore of gnome-desktop and gnome-session with dpkg-reconfigure command but i had to reinstall entire system to have it working again, and now i'm with unity only. :(

cinnamon-session is not an Ubuntu package. Ubuntu developers are unable to fix a problem that is not in an Ubuntu package.

I assume you got cinnamon-session from a PPA. Please report this problem to the maintainers of that PPA.
