Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I don't know exactly when it started, I just noticed that the terminal was opening in the upper left corner and there was no way to reposition it.
The only fix is to log out and select the "gnome failsafe" option, then re-login.
To post a comment you must log in.
I tried this fix, saved the session, logged out, then logged back in. ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ****
It worked.

*Re: No title bar - window manager problem*

in ~/.gnome or ~/.gnome2 i think there is a session file. rename it to
session.old and logout and login again.
without that file, the session defaults to the default session. since ubuntuforums. org/newreply. php?do= newreply& p=2432896>
you said that your failsafe session works then i think this will solve
your problem.
