Missing Feature to Control the Order in which Startup Applications are Launched

The Startup Application console allows you to specify all the applications you'd like to launch during start-up, but it doesn't allow you to control the order in which they are launched.

I'd like the ability to specify the order without having to write a custom script. So this is a feature request.

Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal) reached end-of-life on May 16, 2014.
