Ubuntu 12 need to login twice.

I am using Ubuntu 12:

3.2.0-27-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 6 14:25:57 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Since the last kernel upgrade I have to login twice as after the first login the screen goes blank and returns me to the graphical login screen. Never had this problem before.
