gnome-screenshot not closing out process

Bug Description

after closing the screenshot program the process was still running and taking up a good amount of cpu where i had to kill the process......it seems theres more to the problem because just before it i ended up reporting one about software-center doing it and then before that synaptic was doing it

does this ever occur in trusty or later?

It sounds like this is a bug somewhere other than gnome-screenshot.
