Bug Description
This problem has been intermittent the past few releases, but the circumstances haven't really bothered me until now.
When I have a dual-monitor setup, gnome-screenshot misbehaves when taking screenshots using the "select a region" tool (Custom area selection).
Horizontal black bars appear over the image captured, making the image worthless.
This does NOT happen in "Active Window" and "Entire Screen" modes, irrespective of the number of monitors.
