Bug Description

In the screen unlock window there's a nice helpful "You have the CapsLock key on" message that comes up when you have CapsLock on. However, it doesn't go away when you turn CapsLock off (nor does it go away after repeatedly tapping the CapsLock key). It only goes away after pressing a key with CapsLock off.

This bug was fixed in the package gnome-screensaver - 3.2.0-1ubuntu9

gnome-screensaver (3.2.0-1ubuntu9) precise; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/23_fix_capslock_warning.patch: capslock turns off when
the key is released, so updating the message on key press events
doesn't work properly. Instead, use a proper handler. (LP: #929518)
