screensaver does not engage for several seconds after resume leaving windows interactible

Suspend resume enables the screensaver and lock preventing access to your applications without confirming you are you. However in Oneiric it actually takes 2-3s for this to occur after the resume during which time you can both see the windows and interact with them. This might be considered a severe security issue.
