Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

When I was using Lucid, the screensaver when locking my screen would
ask for the password 2 times. After the first time of entering it, the
black would go away for about 1 second, and I'd see my desktop
followed by it turning black again and prompting me to enter my
password again. Then it would unlock. After reinstalling with Maverick
10.10 64-bit, it has been doing the same thing up. I used
the ubuntu alternate installer (for my raid0 setup), I told it to
encrypt my /home directory as well. Instead, I get a folder in my home
with the name Private encrypted. It is pretty useless. I didn't know
Ubuntu was not using LUCS and wouldn't encrypt my entire /home
partition, but next time, I will make sure that that is what I get. I
just suspected that this encryption ubuntu is using might have
something to do with me having to enter the password twice. I
hope this can get resolved. I will provide anymore information needed.
Thank you.
