Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

While debugging another issue I noticed that a full user name like: "David <br> & Pezi <span>"
is misinterpreted by gnome-screensaver as '%R'.
I'll test this on maverick alpha 3 and will report it upstream if it persists.

This issue still exists in Maverick alpha 3.

This bug has been marked obsolete by upstream due to the fact that current versions do not contain the code. Yet all current supported Ubuntu versions up to Natty Alpha still display the buggy behavior.
