Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
On Karmic almost Alpha 4, screens occasionally blank although I am actively using the computer (mostly typing). My idle timeout in the screensaver prefs is 5 minutes and in power management 30 minutes.
I would expect the idle timeouts be honored and NOT blank screens while using the computer.

I happens on my system as well (same setup).
It seems as if the connection to the monitor is lost for about 7-10 seconds.
