Bug Description

X doesn't know anything about joysticks, so when a game is being played completely with a joystick, the screensaver isn't made aware that the machine is in use by default.

The snes9x emulator doesn't appear to do anything on its own to disable screensavers (at least, it doesn't disable gnome-screensaver).

This is possibly something that could also be done by a frontend like gsnes9x or snes9express, as they exec the snes9x binary but wait in the background; they could disable the screensaver until the snes9x binary closes.

Alternatively, can the screensaver/powermanager/whatever monitor joystick usage?
