Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
gnome-screensav
on a fresh desktop login (after either reboot or logout) the initial fade into screesaver cannot be interrupted by trackpoint or touchpad motion. the mouse pointer remains responsive during this fade and the screensaver can be interrupted at any point after the fade is complete. tested with compiz enabled and disabled. tested with screensaver themes 'Blank Screen' and 'Flurry'. *not* tested with any non-integrated pointing devices. not sure if this actually a 'feature' or not, but it might get annoying if the display is set to lock on screensaver.
