Bug Description
On most current Ubuntu 7.10 beta.
Package: gnome-screensaver
Version: 2.20.0-0ubuntu4
Screensaver thinks that computer is idle when using only mouse.
When I go to
System > Preferences > Screensaver and set "regard the computer as idle after" to 1 minute,
after a minute without keyboard strokes, but only mouse movements, screensaver gets activated.
And what I just discovered while writing this:
when only typing (no mouse movements), after a minute screensaver starts to active (dimming the screen). After a another keystroke it apparently resets its idle timer.
So it seems that screensaver needs both mouse & keyboard activity?

Thanks for your report, That works fine in my desktop, if i move the mouse the screensaver isn't activated, not confirming for now.
