Screen saver does not resume after interrupted but not unlocked

Bug Description
Description: When Ubuntu 14.04 beta initiates screen saver and is 'woken up' without a login it will not resume screensaver.
gnome-screensaver is versoin 3.6.1
Situation 1:
Actions:
- Allow computer to lock and sleep the screen
- move mouse or press key to 'wake screen'
- hit 'esc' or hit no key (ie., do not unlock)
Expected Behavior:
- Computer should immediately resume blank screen when 'esc' key is pressed
- Computer should resume blank screen again after specified lock time after it is not unlocked
Actual Behavior:
- Computer remains at unlock screen indefinitely
Situation 2:
Action produce the situation 1 above, but then unlock the machine after the screen lock period.

Looks like it's now using unity-panel-service to do the locking and that hasn't got the escape behaviour.
I can confirm it.
It should certainly reblank on timer.
I also like blank-on-escape in existing screen savers; e.g. if I'm watching TV in the same room and knock the mouse, you want to reblank the screen.
