Password dialog print (null) instead of real name if real name contains accents

Bug Description
If I put "Cédric" as my real name the password dialog prints '(null)' where it normally prints the real name. If I change it to have no accent and use "Cedric" instead, this is displayed correctly. The computer is configured to use French language.
