Bug Description

With no user activity (mouse or keyboard) for 20 seconds and with laptop on battery power the screen goes to maximum brightness. This should not happen as it increases battery power drainage.
At activity restored (user presses a keystroke or moves the mouse) screen brightness goes back to normal (previous value).
No such problem was ever encountered on previous Ubuntu series (< 11.10).
