Bug Description
I installed Ubuntu on my Hasee F237R laptop and I got a lot of issues with it. The most apparent one is the brightness control. I got 8 levels to adjust but Ubuntu only show 4 available to change. And the Battery Meter percentage is not right and didn't appear unless u plug in AC. When I uninstalled gnome-power-manager the brightness seems to work with 8 levels but without SUN bar showing. I`m looking for a fix. Any help?
P.S. I checked Gnome Project and found the newest gnome-power-manager is 3.20. Should I install this? How can I install this on Ubuntu 10.10?
