gnome power manager applet doesn't show state

Bug Description

1) Ubuntu 11.10
2) 3.2.0
3) when i've fully charged my notebook and i've removed the AC adapter, GPM applet always show that the battery state is "charge complete" but if i do "acpi -b" i see that my battery is going down
4) i have to reboot
