Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

gnome-power-manager used memory grow over long hours, I had the same problem with gnome-volume-manager but it was later fixed (now using 10.5 MB).
After 2 days gnome-power-manager is using over 130 MB.

Steps to reproduce:
Keep gnome-power-manager for at least a day and you will start noticing the memory growth

Ubuntu Feisty running under vmware on a desktop computer

This problem is no longer there in the last Feisty updates
gnome-power-manager Resident Memory: 6.1 MB
gnome-volume-manager Resident Memory: 4.8 MB
