Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

After leaving the computer Idle for about 30 seconds the screen starts to Flicker and doesn't stop until a key is pressed. sometimes even that doesn't help.

I have the same problem.

Ubuntu 11.04 (problem since version 9.x) 32bit
Graphics Card: Intel GMA X3100
MSI PR400-016PL laptop

The problem occurs: work on the battery, unplug the power adapter.

Temporary solution: ctrl+F1 and after a while ctrl+F7
