gnome-power-manager 10.10 ignores configuration

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I can't believe my eyes: default 10.10 installation from official 32bit CD, tried to disable all battery pop ups with gconf-editor, rebooting etc, most of the pop ups if not all kept coming. I thought maybe another package was producing them, but rm /usr/bin/gnome-power-* showed it was probably gnome-power-manager, as all power notifications went away. Can't believe it, no way! Such a vital package misbehaving. 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
