power indicator menu repeats first line

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

The power indicator's menu has the first line repeated. See attached screenshot.
The menu is correct after logging in, but gets the repeated line some time later.
I have not noticed any consistent triggering event.
The first line is repeated both on battery and on A/C, confirming that this is not the same as bug #616443.
