Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Wishlist bug: in gnome-power-preferences the "On AC Power" and "On Battery Power" tabs, Actions -> When laptop lid is closed: please add "Do nothing" to the list of preferences. This is just a matter of exposing this gconf option "nothing" in the UI.
