Ubuntu 10.10- the Maverick Meerkat -

Power management window suppose to have battery power configure setting tab. but it only show AC power tab.
When plug AC power cord in and out, it temporarily show battery icon; however, still battery setting tab in the power management is missing also battery icon in a panel doesn't reflect correct battery status, Also, battery icon disappears when computer is reboot. In order to see battery icon in the panel, plug AC power in and out is required.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue?
