battery not detected at all on lucid

Hi,
Moving from karmic to lucid, I lost my battery management (in system/preferences/). I only have the AC tab. My battery is not detected at all :

cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/info
present: no

modprobe battery
FATAL: Module battery not found.

I have tried with a liveusb and it is exactly the same thing.

If I unplug the AC, battery works.

It was fine with karmic

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.

I am affected by this bug in Ubuntu 11.04, classic Gnome desktop, on a Toshiba Satellite L735-116

and it still exist with oneiric for me !! on the same computer.
