Bug Description
Hi,
after installing NetworkManager gnome-power-manager does not seem to work correctly anymore after a clean boot..
The battery status etc works fine, but the actions don't, when closing the lid nothing happens. When i kill and restart gnome-power-manager for 1 or 2 times everything works fine, i'm guessing it has something to do with dbus/hal but i don't have any expertise in this sort of things.
When i uninstall NetworkManager the program just works without killing and restarting it first.
I'm using latest ubuntu 6.06 on an Acer Aspire 1641WLMi laptop.
Thanks :)

I've got the same problem : when I close the laptop it stops fine and when I open it up a moment later, more than one time over two, the network (WiFi) is deactivated. d/networking restart, messages tells me the device is currently busy etc.
When I do a sudo /etc/init.
I have to close / open / close / open until the network is up by itself.
I uninstalled network-manager and now, I don't have this kind of problem after closing the laptop.
