Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. Could test the current Ubuntu version? It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. The latest release is Ubuntu 10.10. Thanks in advance.
