Brightness is reset continuously

UNR karmic beta on MSI Wind U-90.
When gnome login screen comes up, brightness setting starts to change continuously until I press brightness function button. Then, it stops and I can set my favorite brightness.
This happens also when i push in the ac adapter.

Hi,

I do have the same problem using UNR karmic beta on MSI Wind U-100.

Anyway, modifying the brightess using Fn+F4 or F5 does'nt allways stop the permanent change.

Using the brightness applet (just clicking on it) stops the loop.

Hi,

Same problem here using UNR karmic beta on AHTEC Lug = MSI Wind

I can't stop the applet though. Have to go back to Jaunty.. :(

I've also got an MSI Wind U-100 and have the same problem with UNR Karmic: the brightness keeps oscillating. This seems limited to these models, then, although I never experienced the issue with UNR Jaunty. Changing the brightness with the function keys doesn't stop the problem in my case.
