Bug Description

I do the test on Karmic remix and Karmic Desktop. The error is the same!
When the laptop is finish to boot, the luminosity fall to the minimum! After, the luminosity increase gradually to be on maximum! When it's the maximum, we have a notification with Notify-OSD each second, the luminosity drop on one value and go to the maximum. The loop is infinity!
I attach lspci information on this message!
I test many laptop with karmic notebook remix and only this laptop has this problem!
What information do you need? Do you understand the problem?

MacSlow may you have a look into this? I'm not sure if it's really a notify-osd issue or this is relaying in g-p-m , xorg or other component. reassigning to notify-osd for now.

It has to be a g-p-m issue. notify-osd by itself doesn't trigger anything. It is a daemon an just sits there waiting for something to display.
