no way to disable just "battery full" notification

Bug Description

I do not want the g-p-m systray icon to pop up a "your battery is full" notification, but there is no way to disable just this behaviour and keep the useful battery charge icon. I had to configure g-p-m to never display the systray icon.

This is not critical, since I get the functionality I want from the battery charge monitor applet, but it's an annoying quirk.

Any chance this bug could have its severity increased? On my laptop, this notification appears about every three minutes or so.

This is no wishlist item! It's a duplicate of #32650 which has been around for such a long time it's not even funny anymore, specially because it's an ugly regression.

I do not think it's a dup of bug 32650, which is about multiple redundant notifications (battery critical or full) on some hardware.

This bug is about the unability to just disable a specific notification (battery full) in all circumstances.

You're right, I was mislead by Scott's comment.

The repeat notification problem should be fixed a while ago -- does it still exist in the latest update version of g-p-m? Second, you *can* disable this warning in gconf -- see the faq page for more details.
