Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Clicking on Power History under the gnome-power-manager icon in the panel, and then clicking on laptop battery extends the window beyond the right end of the screen (although there is still space on the left) and extends it bottom end beyond the bottom end of the screen. The vertical size is too big for a 1024x600 netbook screen, like on my acer aspire one 110l.

Upstream has reported that this bug is fixed. It would help us greatly if you could test the fix next release of Ubuntu - Karmic Koala. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

I can confirm that the size issue is fixed, but a lot of other issues were introduced. Two of them are shown in the attached screenshots: The AC adaptor is shown as selected (doesn't show in thre screenshot -another bug?) on the left side, but battery details are shown on the right side. And a battery power rate of 730W seems a bit high for my netbook!

Thanks for reporting this bug and verifying it was fixed.
You should probably open new bug reports for those two new issues, as this one is now closed.

Also, those new bugs should be send directly to the upstream authors at bugzilla.gnome.org, for forwarding instructions please have a look to http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you forward the bug, please post a link to the upstream bug report at the corresponding Ubuntu bug report. Thanks in advance.
