Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my Acer Aspire 9423.
When I go do suspend, and I resume later. The gnome-power-manager applet shows up twice. Once using my personalized iconset (hydroxygen), and once with the default icon.
apt-cachepolicy gnome-power-manager said this:
Geïnstalleerd: 2.24.2-2ubuntu8
Kandidaat: 2.24.2-2ubuntu8
Versietabel:
*** 2.24.2-2ubuntu8 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
One thing that noticed me is that the expected time left using the battery depends on what applet I check. But only slight difference, but just to state that they are independent.
Hope this is enough information.
Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http:// www.ubuntu. com/testing/. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
