Bug Description

I'm testing Dapper (up to date) and I've noticed that when the laptop finishes recharging the battery, the Power Manager notification icon reports that the laptop has been unplugged and is now running on battery power.

Sounds like HAL error. Can you attach a lshal when the laptop is charged and g-p-m reports it "on battery power" please.

Here's the output of lshal right after g-p-m reporting that the laptop has been unplugged.

The first lines contain the model, make and revision of the laptop, but it's an HP Pavilion dv1245ea.

Interesting. The battery *is* claiming to be discharging, albeit at a rate of zero.

Richard: Perhaps if the ac adapter is present, we should ignore the is_discharging of the battery?
