Bug Description

At the critical battery point, gnome-power-manager displays a frequent appearing and disappearing pop-up reminder that the battery left in the laptop is critical:

During this period, double-clicking on the icon in the menu-bar does not load the gnome-power-preferences configuration panel.

It shouldn't appear, and disappear, this is a bug. Have you tried the recently released 2.13.91?

And you are correct about not being able to click the icon when the 10 second wait period is activated. The program is blocking the UI, which is a bug.

Daniel Silverstone (dsilvers) wrote :

the critical power callback is now done in a g_timeout so that the UI continues to function

Changed in gnome-power-manager:
assignee: nobody → dsilvers
status: Unconfirmed → Fix Released
