gpm crashes at low power threshold notification

Bug #278183 reported by Jan Michael Ibanez on 2008-10-04
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I've noticed that gnome-power-manager seems to crash (SIGSEGV) when battery reaches the low power threshold (the first one, warning that the battery is low). This seems to be a duplicate of #260314, as the crash is in the same place, but I am filing a separate bug as the crash happens way later than indicated in #260314.

System details:

Ubuntu Intrepid beta (x86-64), g-p-m 2.24.0-0ubuntu3, on an Acer Aspire 4720, kernel 2.6.27-4-generic (Wed Sep 24 01:29:06 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux)
