Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I am using Ubuntu 8.10. Today I updated my system and after that Power Manager is not displaying the correct status icon (in the notification area). I plug my system on power still the power manager displays the icon as running on battery. If I mouse over the icon, it says computer is running on AC power.

I have attached the screen shot for the same.
