Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Xubuntu 8.04 Hardy
gnome-power-
xfce4: 4.4.2
In Xubuntu, gnome-power-manager is automatically started by default.
Although I can configure it by typing
$ gnome-power-
in Terminal, the corresponding launcher icon is missing in the application menu.
I suspect this is because /usr/share/
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;
I wish the line was OnlyShowIn=

Thanks for the bug report, Toshio. Unless the power management icon was not displayed for a particular reason, I can confirm this bug. Changing, "OnlyShowIn=GNOME;" to "OnlyShowIn= GNOME;XFCE; " and then regenerating the menu does allow the power management application to show under Applications > Settings > Power Management.
