missing shebang line

Bug #238546 reported by Ted Anderson on 2008-06-09
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

In order to collect information about another gnome power manager problem I tried to run the command, but it failed with syntax errors, specifically "Badly placed ()'s.". This is due to the fact that my default shell is tcsh and the script is missing a shebang (#! line) telling the system that this is an sh script.

I am running Hardy 8.04 on an IBM T43 ThinkPad. I have gnome-power-manager version 2.22.1-1ubuntu4.

Please add "#!/bin/sh" to the top of this file.

  * 13_bugreport_bin_sh.patch, adding a "#!/bin/sh" to the top of so that it is more specific about how it
