At some point over the last few days of updates the display brightness slider disappeared from the gnome-power-

From preferences help it appears there may be a new Brightness Applet, however it is not showing up on my task bar and I don't see this listed as an issue for Beta. I have attached the output from gnome-power-
Also xorg.conf doesn't seem to know what kind of video device I have, is that the problem?
