Bug Description
Maybe this also a feature request, but the current behavior is definitely not useful:
Current behavior:
* use a laptop (with lid switch)
* click Power Off in the Power Off/Log Out menu.
* the 60 second counter starts
* close the lid immediately
* wait a few minutes
* open the list
* be greeted with the shutting down countdown (!)
Expected behavior:
* after clicking shutdown, the laptop either shuts down after 60 seconds or I cancel.
A shutdown should not be interruptible by anything short of a dead battery.
Maybe shutdown instantly when closing the lid (or do that in general? It's not like you get a "These apps would like to prevent the shutdown" dialog.)
